Affordable Night Market and Street Food Haven in Baguio City

If you're heading to the Summer Capital of the Philippines, the Baguio Night Market needs to be on your list. It runs near Burnham Park / the Igorot Garden area, from 9:00 PM to midnight — perfect for after a full day of sightseeing.

Shopping

The market is famous for its ukay-ukay (secondhand clothing) finds, with prices ranging from P40 to P250, and deals like "2 for 150" if you're willing to dig through the racks. Branded shoes show up too, usually P1,000 to P2,000. Fair warning: watch out for counterfeit goods, and keep an eye on your belongings — it gets crowded fast.

Street Food Lineup

This is really the main event. Prices per stick/serving, roughly:

  • Isaw — P5
  • Chicken skin — P20
  • Penoy — P12
  • Balot — P15
  • Mais with cheese powder — P25
  • Fishcake — P10
  • Fresh lumpia — P25
  • Palabok — P30
  • Tapsilog — P60
  • Sisig — P35–P60

What surprised me most was seeing teokbokki (P20) sitting right next to the traditional Filipino stalls — Korean street food has fully made its way into the night market lineup, and the portions are generous on both sides.

Tip

Come hungry, bring cash in small bills, and pace yourself — it's easy to over-order when everything's this cheap.
